3M Automotive Tape PX5008 is a grey double-sided acrylic foam tape with very good initial and excellent final adhesion for low (LSE) and medium (MSE) surface energy materials. It is equipped with two different adhesives applied to the acrylic foam core. The viscoelastic acrylic foam core adapts well to complex shapes and features excellent wet properties and stress relief under high loads.
Typical uses include the attachment of fixed added elements such as spoilers, plastic sill protectors, antenna holders, roof rain gutter mouldings, fender cutout extensions, etc., where the connection point must look aesthetically pleasing.
