Transparent tape 3M VHB 4910 is ideal for bonding transparent materials such as glass, polycarbonates and plastics. The joints are practically invisible, thanks to which the surface is smooth without unsightly rivet and screw heads and weld marks. The tape is only 1 mm thick.
The colourless material is ideal for joining transparent materials
The composition of the adhesive on the 3M VHB tape connects and adheres immediately upon contact without the need to wait for drying
Practically invisible fastening helps to maintain the neatness of the surfaces without unsightly rivet heads and welding marks.
Distributes the load along the length of the joint
High dynamic load absorption dampens vibrations and dampens stress during impacts
3M™ VHB™ 4910 Transparent Tape is ideal for translucent materials or wherever you need a transparent joint, effectively replacing screws, rivets and studs when securing materials; the result is a long-lasting hold and a clean look. Our 40.0 mil tape offers short-term heat resistance of up to 300°F (149°C) and long-term heat resistance of up to 200°F (93°C).

Unlike screws and rivets, 3M VHB tape distributes the load over the entire width of the joint and can adapt to different intensities of expansion and contraction. After joining the materials, a practically indestructible joint is formed. The transparent body of this tape is ideal for use, for example, for covering skylights, internal or external domes and/or for glueing the edges of glasses with resin fillings. 3M VHB tapes were launched in 1980 as the first of their kind. Our unique tapes combine adaptability and a strong permanent bond. The result is a range of extremely strong tapes that can adhere to a wide variety of substrates including glass, metal, MSE plastics such as rigid PVC, acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS and polystyrene, as well as most powder coatings, wood with a layer of paint or sealant and cemented concrete. 3M VHB tape can be used indoors and outdoors for a variety of purposes including mounting permanent signage and fixing panels, fixing components and repairs. 3M VHB tape is a proven alternative to screws, rivets, welds and other forms of mechanical fixation. These tapes are used in one or more steps of the assembly, assembly, fastening and sealing process in skyscrapers, mobile phones, highway signs, refrigerators, marine electronics, architectural windows, caravans and trailers. 3M™ VHB™ Tape fits into grooves, around corners and over curved surfaces while providing a permanent bond in a way that mechanical fasteners cannot. This innovation provides an opportunity for fast and efficient MRO. as well as the possibility of designing structures by applying new and different procedures. The result is a powerful tape that sticks to a wide variety of materials. Purposes of use include joining and sealing glass on LED panels, joining metals with a coating layer, and joining and sealing plastic windows to painted panels. 3M VHB tape can enhance the appearance of finished goods by eliminating rivets and screws while providing immediate handling strength. Fixing with 3M VHB tape is usually faster than drilling, fixing, or using liquid glue. Our versatile range of tapes can be used indoors and outdoors including window and door installation, signage installation, electronics, maintenance and dozens of other industrial applications.
